At Exequias, we pride ourselves on creating ceremonies that are both unique and deeply personal.
Each ceremony reflects the loved one we are bidding farewell – and will have its own distinct tone, tempo and message.
When creating a ceremony, it’s important to work closely with family and friends to really understand what they want from the occasion. We often weave in prayers, poems, readings and music that is meaningful for those in attendance, and incorporate a guided meditation where guests find solace and inspiration.
Through our 8-step timeline style process, we aim to draw out the best and most inspiring memories of the departed, and carry these forward into our ceremony. With our guidance, we explore how to let go to create space for a new miracle to appear in life. An Exequias ceremony is not just a farewell, it is a turning point.
As well as writing and delivering the ceremony itself, Exequias celebrants can take care of any or all of these components:
Liaison with the required services and venue
Greeting, seating and directing guests
Provision and set-up of PA and multimedia facilities
Coordination of music and media
Advice on seating and venue set-up
Crafting and sending invitations
Guidance on newspaper notices
Creation and printing of funeral service
Provision of sharing cards and mementos
